The Library will close our building to the public for at least thirty days as a precaution to protect the health of our patrons and staff — but our online library will still be open! Our staff is hard at work to make sure we can still accommodate your needs. We are loosening restrictions on the number of items that can be checked out. If you cannot return your items during the building closure, don’t worry about your fine — we will waive fees on late items during this emergency. To keep our materials clean, we are holding all returned books for three days before processing them and returning them to the shelves. DVDs will be disinfected immediately and returned to circulation. Here is a list of services (some new) that we offer along with instructions on how to access them:
Curbside Pickup and Delivery – Chose titles from our online catalog. Call or email us with your selection and card information and we will call or email when you can come pick up your items at our backdoor.
WiFi in the Parking Lot – We may not have computers for you to use, but we still have wifi! Anyone is welcome to come park in the surrounding lots to access the internet. Choose a spot close to the building for the best reception.
Return Boxes Outside – Worried about turning in books? We have a book drop on the west side of the Library so you can turn in your books without contacting anyone!
Virtual Story Times & Programs – We have story-time videos and crafts and activities you can do at home with your children. Also, if you are looking for fun stuff to do, no matter what your age, try this site!
E-Books – Check out a book from the comfort of your home! We still offer Overdrive to our patrons through the Across Colorado Digital Consortium!
